We believe that the Bible has its origin in the infinite mind of God and is the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life (2 Timothy 3:15-16, Hebrew 4:12-13).
The Fall of Man.
We believe that man was created in the image of God. But fell into sin and is therefore lost; only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can Salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Genesis 1:26, Romans 5:12).
The Eternal God
We believe that God was before anything existed, and will be after everything ceases. God is Triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut.33:27; Psalm 90:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross and arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven. He is now our High Priest and advocate (Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:31-32, Matthew 16:15 7&16; John 1:14; Hebrews 7:25, 8:1).
Salvation through grace
We believe that we are saved by Grace (the unmerited favor of God). We have no righteousness of our own (Ephesians 2:8).
Repentance and acceptance
We believe that upon sincere repentance, and a genuine acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God (1 John 1:9).
We believe that only those who are members of the True Church shall be eligible for membership in the local Church
(1 Corinthians 1-2, Colossians 4:15-16).
Daily Christian living – Life in the Spirit.
We believe that we are to sanctify ourselves daily (Hebrews 6:1, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4), and walk in the Spirit (Ephesians 4:30-32)
Baptism, the Lord’s Supper & washing of the saint’s feet.
We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work (Matthew 28:19). We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolic use of the bread and juice (1 Corinthians 11:24-25) and the washing of the saint’s feet (John 14:21-24).
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the endowment of power for service (Acts 2:1-4).
The Gifts & Fruit of the Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows gifts upon the Christian (1 Corinthians 12:1, 7-10, 28, 31) and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life (Galatians 5:22-25).
We believe that divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the sick (1 Peter 2:24).
We believe that soul winning is the most important responsibility of the Church (James 5:20).
