Apostolic – A Church that operates in the Apostolic Doctrine – The dominant anointing that flows throughout the entire book of Acts.
What is the Apostolic Anointing – Apostolic is derived from the word Apostles and describes the commission, power and the authority given to the early apostles by Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15-18). When a Church operates under the apostolic mandate, there will always be manifestation of the supernatural power of God in every service. Apostolic doctrine is the message of Jesus, His redemptive work, and His call to selfless discipleship. “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)
The Apostolic Church follows the pattern given by Jesus as written in Ephesians 4:1-13. The five-fold ministry, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, is visible in an apostolic congregation.
It is the responsibility of the Apostles and leaders to: 1) Stir up the apostolic dimension in every believer through teaching, preaching, prophesying and the laying on of hands. 2) Perfecting of the saints by teaching and preaching the full truth of God’s word (2 Timothy 3:16; Ephesians 4:1-13). 3) Stir up the gifts of the Spirit (1Corinthians 12, Romans 12) and the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) among the believers.
The focus of the Apostolic Anointing is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the Church, the body of Christ until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

“For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
the LORD Almighty is his name. I have put my words in your mouth
and covered you with the shadow of my hand—I who set the heavens in place,
who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’”.” – Isaiah 51:15
